Aura-Soma
Therapy
Aura-Soma Therapy is a
vibrational therapy created by Vicky Wall. According to Wall this therapy
acts directly on the aura. Wall was naturally psychic from an early age
however she did not use her ability to see auras until she went blind
later in life. She developed aura-soma via inspiration and practical experience
when it occurred to her that the oils she was creating as herbal remedies
for massage were actually having a healing effect through their colour.
Aura-Soma is a type of
colour therapy that uses coloured oils that consist of herbal extracts
and essential oils. Quite a range of colours is used with each bottle
divided into two colours. The appropriate combination has a healing effect
either by being massaged into the skin or even by simply being looked
at by the patient.
A lot of the theory behind
the choice of colours used in Aura-Soma treatment is consistent both with
the general characteristics associated with each colour in addition to
the system that relates each Chakra to one of the colours of the rainbow,
starting with red for the base Chakra right through to violet for the
crown. Magenta is added as the highest colour. There are further
refinements with particular combinations of colours e.g. royal blue over
gold is recommended at times when great mental effort and clear thinking
are required.
