"I heard a Swazi
Secret. I learned it from the trees. How nature has the answers. And we
discovered these. Theres
lots of Swazi Secrets. Marula is the best. So give your skin a real treat
and put it to the test."

Swazi Secrets is a truly wonderful
range of natural products derived from the Marula - the King of
African Trees. The Marula range of products capture centuries
of profound African wisdom - purely, simply and naturally. The
Marula is the source of many wonders of nature. The fruit of the
Marula contains four times as much Vitamin C as an orange. The
leaves, bark and roots all have wonderful properties but the skin
care properties of the

oil are perhaps the very best of all. Swazi
Secrets strive to make sustainable use of natural resources in a way that
benefits both the users of the finished product and the communities where
the plants grow. Swazi Secrets have developed this natural product range
on oils derived from an indigenous tree that:

Keys to Swazi Secrets Success
1) If you really care about what
you allow on your skin then Swazi Secrets is for you. All skincare producers
are seeking natural cosmetics as the market grows but few can claim
to be as truly natural as Swazi Secrets. Being wild harvested is what
makes all the difference.
2) Swazi Secrets is genuinely
a Fair Trade range of products. Fair Trade labels are widespread now
on retail shelves because they contain some fair trade ingredients.
Swazi Secrets Marula products have much greater appeal to hard
core fair traders.
3) Truth in labelling. Swazi Secret
products withstand full and thorough scrutiny.
Marula Oil
The Swazi Secrets flagship
product is a pure, unrefined Marula Oil cold pressed from wildharvested,
hand-cracked nuts. Nothing is added and nothing is taken out in
order to retain the very best of its amazing skin care properties.
It is quickly absorbed
by the skin to moisturise and relax especially if applied
with a massage by your loved one. It is naturally rich in vitamin
E, known for its anti-aging properties, and which also acts as
a natural preservative, giving it a shelf-life of at least two
years without any additives. Apply to the skin on your body and
face.

Marula Moisturising Exfoliator
This Moisturising
Exfoliator is truly a secret we discovered while pressing marula
oil: as the oil runs out of the press, small particles of marula
seeds in the oil are sieved off and this mix of marula crumbs
and marula oil makes a peeling product gentle enough for even
the driest skin. The marula oil contained in it moisturises and
soothes the skin, so dont wash it off.
Directions for
use: After cleaning, gently massage the exfoliator into the
skin, then wipe particles off with a moist tissue. Massage remaining
marula oil into the skin.
Ingredients:
Pressed Sclerocarya birrea (marula) seeds and seed oil.
Available in 90g (3.17 oz) tube, for easy and hygienic handling.

Marula Tree
 |
The Marula tree (Scelerocarya
birrea, subspecies caffera) is one of Africa's most wonderful botanical
treasures. Over the millennia tens of millions of marula fruit have
been eaten. Not only the fruit, but also the nuts, that are very
rich in minerals and vitamins. The history of the marula tree stretches
for thousands of years. Archaeological evidence suggests that the
marula tree was a source of nutrition as long as ago as 10,000BC.
Legends abound on the multiple uses of the tree, the bark, the leaves,
fruit, nut and the kernels. Perhaps it |
is the best known for the fruit that 'drives
elephants mad' when it drops to the ground and becomes slightly fermented,
marula is a much-loved tree in the veldt in Africa. It has been a dIET®ary
mainstay in South Africa, Botswana and Namibia throughout history.
