The eye is the most complex tissue structure in the human anatomy. Our iris is very revealing of the level of constitutional strength, hereditary deficiencies, and the general state of our health. The iris also displays the activity within our organs, glands and tissues according to the way we live our lives. Iridology provides an accurate analysis of the iris structure and pigmentation provides vital iinformation that is not always available through other methods. It is an eye examination that demonstrates our relative state of health. Iridology concerns itself with the body's tissue integrity that can show if we have over or under activity in various areas of the body. The iris records information through reflex response about the state and functioning of every organ in the body. Iridology is similar to how acupuncture and reflexology sees the body as an energy system. In addition it is a master science in the area of genetics. Iridology is an exceptional assessment tool in showing the areas of the body that are genetically strong. It is a safe, painless, non invasive and relatively cheap method of analysis. How Does Iridology Work ?The human iris is very complex and is made up of a huge number of of nerve endings that are connected by impulses to every tissue throughout the body via the brain and nervous system. The nerve fibres - trabecula - react specifically to tissue and organ conditions with a corresponding physiological reflex that show up in the iris as lesions and variations in colour. An iris chart has been developed through many years of clinical observation and intensive research by Dr. Bernard Jensen and others. The iris chart represents the basic placement of body organs and tissues in a manner that is similar to a map. In Iridology an accurate iris analysis is possible by superimposing the chart over an iris image projection. This permits a detailed observation of the valuable and reliable data recorded there. What Happens During an Iridology Session ?Having your eyes examined by an iridologist is non-invasive, painless and safe. An Iridology sessions usually takes about an hour. It involves the iridologist conducting an examination of the iris of the eye with a magnifying glass and a small torch. Modern iridology sessions also usually involve the taking pictures of the iris using a special camera. The main aim of iridology is to detect illnesses or conditions at an early stage and before they become a significant problem. The iridologist can then refer the patient to a relevant specialist for further appropriate treatment. Iridology does not diagnose disease, rather it reveals hereditary tendencies and conditions of the tissues in the body.
