Why the Complementary Healing field for Kate?
I was very ill and had almost given up on myself as I was unable to function properly. I was at the end of my tether when a friend advised me to try Kinesiology I was sceptical at first but then was hooked. It changed my life. Through this I learned that I was eating the wrong foods and they were affecting my energy. It wasn't just about nutrition though. I found myself on so many levels, I learned to relax, my moods improved greatly, I had more confidence and got my energy back. Put simply, I was a new woman. I wanted to know more which led me to study Kinesiology and from there I went on to study Reiki, holistic massage, and Indian head massage. I am very passionate about my work and any opportunity I get I love to attend workshops and seminars.
Reiki in Dunboyne
Reiki is an ancient art of hands-on healing that uses a universal energy that is channelled into the client's body through a Reiki practitioner's hands. It's a natural and safe method of spiritual healing and self-improvement. It has been effective in helping virtually every known illness and malady and always creates a beneficial effect. It also works in conjunction with all other medical or therapeutic techniques to help relieve side effects and promote recovery. It is a very gentle yet extremely powerful therapy that is beneficial for emotional, physical and spiritual healing. Reiki is suitable for everybody regardless of their beliefs. Currently it is being used to benefit a huge number of people across Ireland that are suffering from a wide range of ailments.
While Reiki is spiritual in nature, it is not a religion. It has no dogma, and there is nothing you must believe in order to learn and use Reiki. In fact, Reiki is not dependent on belief at all and will work whether you believe in it or not. Many people find that using Reiki puts them more in touch with the experience of their religion rather than having only an intellectual concept of it. Reiki has many benefits and can be used in harmony with conventional medicine.
