What Mary's Clients Say
I tried Cranio-Sacral Therapy originally
2 years ago because of a recurring problem with my lower back.
As a result of a combination of falls and injuries over the
years my lower spinal column has become weakened. This at
times caused my whole back to go into spasm. When this happened
the pain was almost unbearable, work, sitting, standing, walking,
sleeping became almost impossible. Anti-inflammatories and
pain -killers are not for me! After my 1st visit to Mary Conlon,
cranio-sacral therapist I knew this was the treatment for
me. Within minutes of laying up on the plinth I could feel
my lower spinal column almost "float" back into
position and for the rest of the treatment I fell into a lovely
sleep. After that 1st treatment the muscle spasms in my back
had gone a\and I was able to go walking, swimming etc again
to help strengthen and tone my back. I now have a cranio treatment
once every few months just from a wellness point of view.
It de-stresses, boosts energy, induces a sense of well-being,
and helps promote lovely healthful sleep. Marys no-nonsense
practical approach suits me and I have complete confidence
in someone who knows their therapy as well as Mary does. A
simple no frills approach that does exactly what you want.

What is involved in
a CranioSacral Session?
A typical first Craniosacral
session begins with Mary taking a note of your medical background
including accidents and any medicines that you might currently be
on, including vitamin and mineral supplements. Mary will then talk
you through what will happen during your first session as it is
highly individualised to each person. Cranial sacral therapy is
non-invasive but it is best to wear loose fitting and comfortable
clothes. You will be asked to remove your footwear.
As Craniosacral is
hands-on treatment you will lie on a plinth and Mary will typically
begin with your feet and work her way up the body depending on your
particular requirements. You will receive treatment that is personal
to your needs. The majority of people find the experience to be
a completely relaxing experience.
What is involved in
a Reiki Session?
For your initial
Reiki session Mary will ask you to lie down on the treatment table.
If lying down is difficult then Mary can conduct your treatment
with you in a seated position or even standing. You should wear
loose and comfortable clothing. Throughout your Reiki session Mary
will delicately lay her hands on, or just over, various parts of
your body. You may experience a mild and pleasant tingling in the
part of the body being treated. In some cases clients have reported
to Mary a sensation of a healing heat in the problem area. Most
of Mary's clients complete their Reiki session feeling deeply relaxed.
